I'm a husband, daddy, and I bring home the bacon as a full time landscape contractor / designer, but sometimes I feel more like a marketing professional, sales guru, full time Chevy mechanic, small equipment repair expert, redneck inventor, cell phone fix it guy, and toy battery replacement professional.
Running your own business requires smarts, drive, know how, and especially improvisation and adaptation. Plus you can't just wait around and pay to have everything fixed all the time. Stuff breaks and you'll need it up and running quick and cheap. We'll show some projects, turf, equipment repair, truck service and anytime I come across that seems relevant.

Did the neg one with the bolt last week and have been racking my brain how to fo the pos. Well, someone in a forum i was in told me to watch your video and omg you saved me from just going to buy a new baytery. Thamk you
Thanks and for your video. Saved me lots of money today. Fixed my splitting machine today
Amazing
Thanks for showing the actual cleaning, because the Mazda bulletin says to not spray directly in the throttle body and stay away from the throttle shaft brgs.
Brilliant! I just did the same thing on my car and it worked perfectly. Thank you sir for the video!
That entire trigger valve can be bought off Amazon for about $7 or $8. Just thought it would be worth mentioning..... Nice job on the video and Bostitch trigger rebuild! Sometimes people have to improvise when necessary.....!!!
What could be a problem with kubota BX23 s engine works fine but when I to go forward or backwards the engine shuts down.
Nice job! Exactly what happened to my Troy Built 27 ton. Thank you!!!
Great video
Jeez. How common is this problem? Doesn’t anything work anymore?
I do not trust the dorman product.
Great video! Did you happen to renew the lip seal (157) for the charge pump? The orientation for that seal isn't real clear in the service manual.
there actually a little over 1k now on the dealer
I have a zt3100 on a Husqvarna. Mine runs fine for a while then gets "sticky", where it's hard to make precision movements. After that it will make the grinding noise and wont move. If I get off and pull the bypass, then do a purge, I can get back to mowing. Sometimes this will last for a while, other times it'll crap out again in a few minutes. But, I can repeat the procedure and go back to mowing. So, I'm thinking Im somehow sucking air into the system. The oil and filters were changed last summer. I have a new charge pump and cover, and have a seal and gasket set on the way. I do have a minor oil leak in this transaxle. Looks like up high somewhere. Maybe on the driveshaft seal. Any ideas would appreciated. I've never torn one of these apart before. The neighbor sold me this mower for $100.00 so I'm not out much I can't get it repaired. I actually got it to use while I'm putting another engine in my 2004 Everride Warrior. The POS Kamakazi engine doesn't have an upper bearing oil gallery. Kawasaki knew about these engines but never recalled them. The upper bearing wallows out due to no lubrication. The seal gets destroyed and it slathers oil all over the drive belt. Then it eats belts every 2-3 mowings. I had an older, but dependable Kohler 23 hp. that I'm re-engineering into the Everride. I just have to figure out the new idler setup.
I just ordered a new charge pump kit and service kit for my badboy zt elite right side drive transaxle it's so weak that it won't move under normal load unless you start moving the mower with the left side first. Did the charge pump help with your problem? I'm going to do another full service on it tomorrow with another new filter and put the new charge pump on it and see if it helps my problem before trying to buy a used transaxle or have to buy a new one lol figured I'd try the easiest thing first before spending around 800 dollars on a new transaxle you know lol, anyways any info ya got will certainly help me out
Just saved my ass, cheap! Thank you sir
That helped. It was easy enough for my first time. Tractor BX24 working again with full power. Thank you so much.
I would really like to find out how to reinstall the bypass pin. Mine fell out when I pulled the shaft out and I don't know what the orientation is when reinstalling it. Help!
I need to try the clear diesel first. thanks for the info.
Do it right and replace the cables....
What if everything is connected but it's strip at the battery like i cant take my battery off
I run a BX2380 with 300 hrs. Had the sputtering / loss of power issue while mowing. I replaced both fuel filters and the air filter. Still running the same way with power loss / sputtering. I'm going to try the fuel additive next. I hope it works. BTW, I had a terrible time replacing the fuel filter closest to the fuel pump. Total PIA that took me 2 hrs to complete.
Nice. Gotta do my driver side only and replace that upper control arm on my 07 Escalade.
Ya well I did exactly what you did except it wasent 100 mph I couldn’t get that damn center peace out beat the hell out of it for an hr! So through the dam thing through my fucking window
Have you ever had an issue when fully extending the backhoe bucket? When the backhoe bucket is fully extended there is a 90 degree elbow that makes contact with the backhoe. I have had two elbows snap off in like a day.
Great quality video. Thank You .
Do you have any part numbers?
I’d like a tool that bends the lock washer back towards you on both sides when you install the new inner.
Great video. However I cringe when I see the metal part of a wrench touching the post on a battery. My Dad had a wrench he was using and did the same thing and it came in contact with the positive post and shorted the battery and it blew up. Thank god his glasses saved his eyes. Not fun to short a battery.
Thanks 🎉
Thank you
Bro, thank you for this video!! The mechanics at firestone were gonna charge me $360 just to do this...
Garages are full of criminals like Walmart and hospitals.
You could've gave a better instruction on the bypass rod and plate underneath that. An intricate detail. No mention.
Duramax are JUNK! I have been down that road. JUNK!!!!!!!
Great video ! Just did mine watched this after and agree with all the facts
What did you do to fix the popping on the chain tensioner?
Hi, Thank You for the video, very informative. Please say where you got the parts. If you did ,I missed it.
Great video. So informative covering a lot of common issues. Reading through comments i cant fathom why people feel the need to be cricitcal (unless you ask for feedback). You didn't need to do a video. It's free help. People are pathetic. I think this was so helpful so THANK YOU.
I did the same method, but instead of a regular bolt I found with a nut. I just bought the replacement and GM terminal bolts off of Amazon for 10 bucks also I did do the socket and pipe pliers method that you showed in your video to get the old one off and then I just reversed that method so I put the socket on the opposite side and squeezed the head of the new terminal bolt to get it on the terminal and it worked thank you for that knowledge I will store that in my memory bank for future use I always wondered how they get those terminal bolts for those side post mounted GM cars on and off that terminal. I’m gonna tell that to my Mechanic buddies
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤙🏾
I’ve got the lawnaire iv. Going on my 4th season. Went from 1 residential aeration account to now 65. Buying the stinger dual-aer 2475 next week. 🤠
Thanks for sharing Pretty informative! As I just learned a thing So thanks for sharing Just a lil bit Of your mechanical knowledge buddy Way to go! & EeeHaaaaaaaaaa Haha Thanks again 😁
This was so impressive. Really helpful techniques and great examples using the aerator in such confined spaces and over curbs. ❤
Does it also work to smush the new master link pins . Or is it only a breaker
I bought a used one and it doesn’t go as fast lol
Yea, if it's and older style with the metal pulley cover then they do go slower. We used to swap the top sprocket to speed them up. 💪
@@notoriousJPG thanks for the info!
Flakiiiiiii azz machine
Can you pull the race out with that same tool or do you need a different tool
Not Unless you can get a clear path to the back side of the bearing. If you need to pull it out look for a "blind hole" puller.
Do i need the pins after the alignment was done? I was at a tire shop, they adjusted my camber and then the pins fell out on the highway
If the bolts are tightened enough they shouldn't move, but those pns will help keep the cam from shifting positions Also, you won't have a reference point to see if there's been movement, or for future adjustments.
Impressive... he said "um" or "uh" an amazing 124 times in 17 minutes. That's about seven ums per minute. Spot on causes for losing prime and surprisingly common on older duramaxes. Now to track down a random/unpredictable stall issue that most definitely isn't a prime issue...
Um .. uh. .... Non- prime stall issue. - check Cam and crank sensor or wiring issue. Probably and electronic issue. 😉
He’s not a professional actor!! He’s trying to help us!!
I just picked up a mower with hydro gears 3400. 420 hours. They are noisy. At idle they wine real loud. Not sure if the oil has ever been changed in them.
Check oil level, then replace filters and fresh oil... Could be oil issue or air in the system.
I dropped it off at the Husqvarna dealer last week. I praying they are not toast. The fluid is full but dirty. It runs fine just really, really loud.
The noise sounds like it’s coming from up near the fans.
I have a 1105 Kubota side by side starts but won't pull not a tractor
That's pretty vague, could be an engine related issue, or a transmission issue
